Gym Class Scheduling and Member Self-Enrollment Software for Nigeria
Trainers build the schedule once. Members book their own spot. No group-chat sign-up sheets, no calling the front desk to check if a class is full.
Running fitness classes without a booking system usually means a WhatsApp group where members message to reserve a spot, a trainer trying to remember who confirmed, and no real way to know if a class is already full until people show up and there isn't enough room. It works, barely, until the gym gets busy.
mySmartAccessCard's gym dashboard includes a real class/program scheduling system built for exactly this.
How it works
- 1
A trainer creates a program — name, days of the week it runs, start and end time, how many weeks it lasts, and a maximum capacity.
- 2
The program shows up on members' own dashboards, where they can browse what's running and self-enroll directly — no phone call, no group chat.
- 3
The system tracks enrollment against capacity automatically, so a class can't be overbooked past its limit.
- 4
Each program's status — Upcoming, Active, or Ended — is computed automatically from its dates, so trainers never have to manually open or close a class.
- 5
On the day of a session, members check in with the trainer's own program-specific QR — separate from general gym entry — so attendance is tracked per class, not just per gym visit.
Why capacity limits matter
A HIIT class or a small-group strength session only works if the room isn't overcrowded. Letting the system enforce a hard capacity means a trainer never has to turn someone away in person, and members get a reliable answer — booked or full — the moment they try to enroll.
