Real-Time 'Who's in the Gym Right Now' Headcount
Knowing how busy your gym floor actually is, at this exact moment, used to mean walking out and counting heads. mySmartAccessCard computes it live from check-in data.
Gym owners and managers constantly want to know one simple thing without leaving the office: how many people are actually training right now? Peak-hour crowding, equipment demand, and staffing decisions all depend on it, but the only traditional way to know is to physically walk the floor and count.
On the Gym Overview tab, mySmartAccessCard shows a live headcount computed from real check-in activity — every member who has scanned or tapped in without a matching scan-out yet is counted as currently on the floor.
Why this is more useful than a daily attendance total
A daily "X check-ins today" total tells you activity over a whole day. It doesn't tell you whether the gym is packed at 6pm right now or nearly empty. The live floor count answers the question that actually matters in the moment — useful for deciding when to open a second class slot, when to bring in extra staff, or simply for a manager checking in remotely to know what's happening on-site without calling anyone.
No extra hardware or setup
This number comes directly from the same QR/NFC check-in scans members already use to enter — there's no separate headcount system to install or maintain. As members scan in and out throughout the day, the number on the dashboard updates itself.
