How to Calculate and Forecast Gym Membership Revenue in Nigeria

Daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly plans all mixed together make it almost impossible to know your real monthly revenue at a glance. mySmartAccessCard calculates it for you, live.

Most Nigerian gyms run several pricing tiers at once — a daily rate for walk-ins, a weekly rate, a monthly rate, sometimes a discounted yearly rate for loyal members. That flexibility is good for members, but it makes one basic question surprisingly hard to answer: what is this gym actually making per month, right now? A member on a yearly plan and a member on a weekly plan don't contribute the same amount per month, and adding it all up by hand across dozens or hundreds of members isn't realistic to do regularly.

The Gym dashboard on mySmartAccessCard solves this with a live "Estimated Monthly Revenue" figure on the Overview tab.

How the estimate is calculated

Every plan converted to a monthly equivalent

A weekly fee is converted to its monthly-equivalent value, a yearly fee to its monthly-equivalent value, and so on — then all active members are summed on the same basis.

Shown alongside member count

The revenue figure is paired with how many paying members are contributing to it, so you can see both the total and the average per member at once.

Day-pass revenue kept separate

Guest and day-pass income is tallied on its own, so walk-in revenue never gets blended into — or hides — your recurring membership revenue.

Updates as memberships change

Pause a membership, and it drops out of the live estimate. Resume it, and it's back. The number reflects your actual current member base, not a stale monthly report.

Why this beats a manual spreadsheet

A spreadsheet is only accurate the moment someone updates it — and gym membership status changes daily as people join, renew, pause, or lapse. Because mySmartAccessCard's revenue figure is computed directly from live membership data, it's accurate every time you open the dashboard, not just on the day someone last did the math by hand.

See your real numbers. Register your gym on mySmartAccessCard and get a live revenue estimate from day one — no accountant required to check it.
