Tap-to-Grade: Scan a Student's QR to Open Grade Entry Instantly
Recording a grade usually means opening an app, searching for a name in a class list, then finding the right subject. Scanning a student's identity QR skips all three steps at once.
Every student on mySmartAccessCard already carries a personal identity QR code — the same one used for daily attendance. Rather than treating that code as useful for attendance alone, a teacher can scan it during a grading session and go straight into that specific student's grade-entry form for their level and subjects.
Why this beats scrolling a class list
In a class of thirty or more, finding the right student in an alphabetical list, then the right subject, then the right score field, adds up to real time lost across an entire grading session. A scan resolves the student instantly and opens exactly the right entry form — no searching, no risk of entering a score against the wrong name.
One identity, two uses
This is the same QR infrastructure already used for gate attendance — nothing new to print, issue, or manage. A student's identity card works for check-in in the morning and for grade entry in the classroom, without the school running two separate systems.
